Lateral Epicondyle

This is the bony outgrowth of the humerus at the elbow joint that is lateral to the body (outer side of the arm).

The lateral epicondyle is part of the origin of the supinator and the primary origin of the wrist and finger extensors.  The radial collateral ligament attaches to the humerus on this apophysis.

The diagram to the right shows the anterior view of the right humerus with the lateral epicondyle highlighted in blue.
