Supinator

The forearm muscle that aids in supination.

The supinator has a complex origin shared by the annular ligament, the radial collateral ligament, the lateral epicondyle and the ulna. Its insertion is on the lateral side of the proximal radius.

This muscle is a deep muscle that resides between the bones the superficial muscles, particularly obscured from view by the wrist and finger extensor muscles.
